Drop in to your library

15/11/2021

Libraries are inviting you to drop in, relax, explore, connect, work or learn at your local library.

As part of a new national campaign, libraries iare putting out a call to everyone to come visit and enjoy the library in-person again.

While buildings closed to the public during Covid-19, library services continued online with events, classes and clubs moving online and soaring loans of ebooks, audiobook, online newspapers and magazines. In fact, many people discovered their library for the first time online during Covid.

So, whether you used to visit regularly, or you’ve never been, we’re urging everyone to drop in to their local library and discover what’s on offer.

Please drop in and enjoy the space and services, take time out with a book or a newspaper; look into events or culture; meet friends or family; catch up on work or study, use the computers and Wi-fi.

The library has something for everyone of all ages and interests. Hopefully, once you discover what’s on offer, you’ll make a habit of dropping in to see us.
