Book Title: A Pony In Trouble
Age Group For This Book: 7 - 9
Review From: Galway
I thought this book was really good because there was pony who got sick but got better in the end. There were three girls named Pam, Anna and Lulu . They all had ponies . The names were Lightning, Acorn and Snow White. One day Lightning got sick. The three girls were so worried so they called Pam’s Dad. Pam’s Dad was a vet. When Pam’s Dad heard about it he rushed home. Pam’s Dad asked them a few questions. One night Pam couldn’t go a sleep so she stayed up watching Lightning. Then she saw girl feeding Lightning some apples. Pam scared the girl and that is what stopped her. Lightning was better once again.

Book Title: The Enormous Crocodile
Age Group For This Book: 10 - 12
Review From: Limerick
I liked when the crocodile told the animals about his master evil plan. It was so evil that he thought it was one of his best master plans. Every animal that he told he had a plan to get some food, he told them he was going to act like things that he really was not. First, he went to the coconut tree and he gathered a few leaves and he put them in his mouth. Well, as I was saying, my favourite bit of the book was when the crocodile got flung out to outer space by the big elephant, Big Foot, who the crocodile told about his evil mastermind plan. When the elephant heard that the enormous crocodile was at the CARNIVAL, where there was a lot of children that he could eat very quickly, he pretended he was a crocodile on the round-a-bout.

Book Title: The Big Bad Blackout
Age Group For This Book: 7 - 9
Review From: Limerick
The best thing about the book is Judy Moody’s brother Stink. I like Stink because he is obsessed with Abe Lincoln. Abe Lincoln was an old President in America. I liked when Grandma Lou made ghost toasties.

I thought the book was really good because there was two girls named Kirsty and Rachel. They are best friends from school. Each year they would go to Rainspell Island together and make fairy friends. But this year they go to an activity club. First they did some art and then they played a game of soccer.
I thought the book was really funny and enjoyable.

Book Title: Clover Moon
Age Group For This Book: 10 - 12
Review From: Sligo
The book in my opinion was simply wonderful. I find modern books based on history fascinating and the story really gives you a look in on Victorian times. I love the fact that the language used in it was what most people of that time would have sounded like. It’s a spectacularly beautiful book that I really enjoyed. I rated it for my age but it’s suitable for 7-9 year olds too, if they’re interested.
