    Review From: Kildare

I loved the book so much I read it 4 times! It was about 2 girls called Kirsty and Rachel. They go to the petting farm and get to feed the guinea pigs. One guinea pig called Carrot goes missing and they go and try and find it. They end up finding Georgia the guinea pig fairys magic guinea pig instead. The goblins capture Kristy and the guinea pig and lock them in the shed .

I don’t want to write too much in-case someone wants to read it and I give it away.

  • Book Title:   Ginger Snaps

    Book Author:   Cathy Cassidy

Age Group For This Book: 10 - 12

    Review From: Cork

Once Ginger Brown was bullied, she was the odd one out and had no friends. But on the first day of secondary school, cool, confident, careless Shannon came and sat beside her. That was the start of a friendship, and Ginger hasn’t looked back since…..until now.
Fast forward a year and it’s the first day of second year for the girls. They meet the quirky new boy Sam Taylor, who is interested in Ginger, but Shannon doesn’t like this and decides to label Sam as ‘weird’. Ginger knows in her heart that this is wrong, but she doesn’t want to lose Shannon or her ‘cool’ status. Many dramas unfold over the course of this amazing story, but can Ginger and Shannon make their friendship work, or will Ginger realise that Shannon isn’t all that she seems to be and begin to understand that sometimes the ‘wrong’ boy can turn out to be the ‘right’ boy after all????
I loved this book! It had an amazing storyline and I couldn’t put it down.I think Cathy is one of the greatest authors (if not THE greatest) of all time and I can’t reccommend this book highly enough!!

    Review From: Clare

It is probably one of the best books I have ever read. His dad is absolutely hilarious. My favourite part is when his dad goes to the the bank to get money so he can buy fags but has hardly any money so he roars “It was all that stupid vets bill” because he had not fed the dog so it cost a fortune.
