INFORMATION:The National Centre for Guidance in Education (NCGE)

The NCGE is an agency of the Department of Education and Skills which develops and supports guidance provision in the education sector. It is also responsible for the Adult Educational Guidance Initiative (AEGI), which is a free support service providing guidance on qualification levels, student funding and courses to adults returning to educations.

Career’s Portal is Ireland’s National Career Guidance resource. It was re-launched by the Minister for Education and Skills Ruairí Quinn TD in 2014 and is supported by both public and private organisations. It provides the most current information to those providing or looking for career guidance.
